You're my perfection
All I ever wanted in my life I find in you
Like a connection
When I look into your eyes, there's nothing I can do
Show my affection
You've given me the clarity to see what's true
Like a resurrection
A second chance to understand just who
I was meant to be
I found something in my life worth living for
And now I can see
That the end is justified by all that we endure
Somehow you see me
Unlike anyone has ever looked into me before
And now I know we
Will be together, in each other's arms forevermore
I give to you my
Heart and soul, protect them just as I stand
Right by your side, I
Will always be there, for I now understand
The simple reasons why
We have been tossed into this world, dealt this hand
For now we can fly
Far away, as long as we're together I can watch the sand
As it runs through my hands
I know this night will never end

"Sometimes you have to lose yourself before you can find anything."

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
